I presume software is secured by tamper-proof consumer hardware that is illegal to circumvent. Such anti-circumvention laws would gladly make sense in the security-conscious atmosphere of the spinner bureaucracies. Can't have a refactoring project expose us to the terrorists and raiders, can we...?
