Ctrl-C hit
« on: January 22, 2009, 10:24:51 PM »
I tried to play GH2 in office today ( during lunch break :P ). I was playing 0532 SDL version.

After I created my character (advanced mode), I saw this error dialog:
\"\"

I dismissed it, and it reappeared two more times, then GH2 closed. The save files were created successfully, but the same error (same addresses) happened again if I try to load it.

If I use the basic character creation, I can get into the game.

It was a fresh extract of the ZIP files (gh2-0532-sdl-win followed by gh2-0532-image), with no configuration changes.

I tried windowed mode but got the same error.

My office machine is a Vista Business 32-bit, 2GB RAM, with Intel G33 chipset.

I uploaded the save to here (RapidShare).

That's a bug in FreePascal rather than a bug in GearHead.
Not sure if JH updated his compiler yet though...

Bug in FreePascal, you say? I'm going to be out of town for the weekend (Lunar New Year), but when I get back I'll recompile and make a new release (I also have to fix some deadends that got reported about 15 minutes after releasing v0.533).

I said could be a bug in FreePascal, I haven't confirmed that yet.

Ctrl-C is commenly used as a combo to break out of a program, so ironicly, that could be intentional behaviour in FP.
