Since Francisco started it, I might as well start giving some contributions.

Plate Armor set.  I just googled some images, resized and traced them, then I coloured them over.  Not sure about the Armet for the Plate helmet.  I don't exactly recall such a helm but I included it for the sake of having a complete set of plate armor.

Edit:  More Helmets.

all of them are photo-traced.  you can spot them if you search 'helmet' on google images.

I tried drawing some stuff, but all I have is my tablet... it didn't turn out so well.

Did I mention I can't draw well to begin with? Eh. I might try again in future.

I think that rendered 3D objects should be used instead of hand-drawn images. Finding freeware models might be difficult, though.

I think rendering 3D images for something that would be a 2D image isn't really worth for all that effort.  Unless you're gonna do some rotating animation or some such for Item images, I don't see the point for a 3D render.

There's not a lot of graphics contributors for GH, and I think 3D people can focus on the mecha (since they're sprites that are rotated, and possibly with a 3D engine, maybe go full time 3D models instead of sprites).

2D images are sufficient for portraits and item images.

Also, I like 2D art.  Joseph does comics, and I myself would like to retain some comic/cartoon/anime feel to GH.

Edit: Anyway. that said... Here is a 3D rendered image.  Low Polygon count, as I'm still learning to use Anim8or properly.

I, too, would like to retain hand drawn images for the items.

Edit- Also, I'll be adding some item pictures myself when I get some free time (HA!).

I'll do my best to help as well.  I've been working on a small line of item drawings myself, from things like the Deathwing to the various tokens.

...  How exactly are add-ons like the Tokens handled, anyway?

The tokens are coin sized devices that attach to a melee weapon. One side has a nanoadhesive that can be set to attach or detach to any surface. The other side usually has an ornate design related to the function of the token.

The other weapon add-ons have different appearances and methods of operation.
