Back from Ulsan [OT]

Eunsuk and I went to Ulsan for the weekend to visit her folks. I regret to say that I couldn't find any Japanese Wintergreen at the open market- it's the last ingredient I need for home-made root beer, and it's apparently available sometimes, somewhere. Her father suggested that I try the herbal medicine shops in Daegu. I'll probably do that next weekend.

There have been a lot of posts this weekend; I don't think I'll be able to reply to everything tonight, but I'll see what I can do.

Yesterday I taught my first gifted class. It was really good, except for the fact that it was a seven (classroom) hour day. Today I'm exhausted and sore.

I recall that you can get a pseudo-effect with dry ice, but you'd have to use a punch bowl, or other object with open top (not a soda bottle), to keep it from having unwanted concussive force. Resulting in shreds of material used in the brewing bottle and flying drops of liquid and dry ice (at whatever chosen state).
