You can salvage if the mission lets you, but you can't pick up another mecha's inventory once it's down. I think.

I'm not too sure on that, so don't come crying to me later.

In GH2, if you have to leave the map under your own power, salvage means captured mecha only.  At least from what I've seen.

Let's hope that GH never gets to its final version, as that would mean its death. With his kid, JH may not have time to work on GH as much.

1.0 is the worst version you can give a program.

Unless it's feasible to hit 1.01, etc. I'm pretty happy with Cyberstorm, but the upgrade makes it much nicer.

Cyberstorm?

What I meant is when you give a program 1.0, you don't change anything major (generally) until a sequel.

Don't change anything major? Then you haven't played Missionforce: Cyberstorm!
Nah, like you said, that's generally true. Still, 1.0 isn't a death knell. It's just a release. It does sometimes mean they're too happy with the result, but many of my favorite programs significantly improved after release anyway.

Well, yeah, but I'm used to 1.0 meaning that there will be no changes but balance and bug-fixes, which is very sad.
