Looks like that would work.  As long as the carried (or installed) item is sealed, the limb is.

Yes, that will work. I was going to pop in here and mention it myself, but FM beat me to it. As far as I can remember, even a SEALED weapon or tool would seal that limb.

I see a problem with this, though- harnesses are indestructible; only their contents may be damaged. This means that wearing a SEALED harness gives the player permanent vacuum protection. Maybe I should give harnesses a damage rating, although I seem to remember that there was some reason why I didn't want to.

I don't suppose there could be a way to make SEALED inaccessible to weapons? It seems hard to justify.

If a harness with subcomponents get those destroyed should be destroyed...
A harness with nohings "inside" should have 1 hp x mass point (or 1)

Well, say you have a bracer-mounted sword/gun. If it's sealed, it simply means that it covers the entire limb, not just the gun, as most have no zero-gravity penalty implemented. Same with tools.
