Randomly checking something, I noted that Forager mentions that the Primal Genome was stolen from BioCorp labs, however the Primal Genome cannister has an ID number on it that starts KCF which is a designation used by Kettel industries for the Jos.
Dun-dun-dun.
However, the end of the ID number 'Osiris' would in theory put it back in BioCorps ballpark, making it related to a certain promotional quest reward for a certain other faction.
The only answer I can think of is that BioCorp originally stole it from Elisha Kettel's dad, which might explain why Kettel Corp is listed as a GoodEnemy faction despite never doing anything too mean other than stealing a certain valuable Ruby.
Following this logic, I think returning the Ruby to Elisha should trigger a Storyarc where it's revealed that her Dad isn't dead but is instead some sort of MAGUS-like Cybernetic bio-computer thing now, and how Elisha wanted the Ruby to help him be reborn in an immortal human body.
