GH2: Spaceship Mechanics
« Reply #165 on: April 02, 2008, 05:29:41 PM »
Yeah, but it's a generic weapon, not one that will engulf an enemy's entire being in scorching heat like a nuke or Convex Cave Superlaser (Star Wars, on the Deathstar), or even a large explosion. I was only talking about the rare, dodge 'cause you can't block, 50 legality weapons.

I was putting Hyper in the list to imply that the weapon has the HYPER tag, to attack the entire target, but it could've been quite obscure.

particle accelerators practically create create mini nuclear explosions where they hit thats why their so good

but its nothing against a top level meson gun even high level meson screens will have a hard time stopping it (regular armor is completely useless)

This has been dead for ages, but I think it's time to resurrect this particular topic.

All of this talk was going on in 2008. What happened to spaceships? Will we ever be able to chase the hangar of a frigate as it leaves the atmosphere? Will we ever escape onto our personal carrier, firing furiously at a screeching horde of foes beneath us? Will we ever drop squads of SF:1 troopers with flight packs and light laser cannons into hostile territory?
I'm not actually a spammer. I promise.
