Which reuslts in you damaging the enemy mecha as well as propelling yourself away from him/her/it.

In short: an excellent idea.

Attack priorities determine which weapons are fired first; currently they only affect the quickfire command, but I plan to make them influence the regular attack and bump attack commands as well.

Maybe I should move shield blocking to Mecha Weapons (so it would be more in line with how personal scale shields work), then allow a number of special attacks that get unlocked based on your Mecha Fighting rank.

Maybe you should assign, say, hotkeys for your favorite weapons (the number keys, maybe?). Pressing a hotkey would be the same as pressing 'a' and selecting the weapon. If the selected weapon hasn't recharged yet, a message would pop up indicating this.
