Kidnapped daughter quest still bugged

I just tried it. "you treat the victim's wounds and call for help." still gives you the "all is lost...." answer if you go back to the mayor.

Edit : Damn i just tried using medicine and the victim was removed successfully, but it still bugged out on me. I managed to finish this quest on my 2nd playthrough(partly, it was still buggy, see bug list thread) but now it seems i cant get it to work on my 3rd playthrough.

Is it a clean install of 1.020? Do you recall what you did differently in each case?

I think that if you're using an old saved file for this one it will yield similar results..

Is this a new savedgame thats been played only with 1.020?

Yea, i already had a 2nd playthrough with 1.020 and the quest worked(But gave an error message that i already reported), but when i started my 3rd campaign all im getting is "all is lost...".

Anyway, heres the savegame file....take a look at it, see if you can get the quest to work. I saved right outside the hotel.

This is not a 1.020 savefile. To get the corrected quest, you have to start a campaign in 1.020.
