Well, from what I've seen, the baconators have eased off actually inserting as many bacon links and instead started creating boatloads of user accounts. (As in, I have to look 250 changes back to find the last bacon I paved. Used to be 50-100 changes.) Not sure which is worse, but I've been tracking the wiki changes on a more/less daily basis for a while now.
Update: Easily another hundred, maybe 125 new accounts today. (05 June, 18:25 US Eastern)
Update, 2d: About 8 or so bacon posts over the past 300 or so changes. (Yes, I had to use the 500-change setting to find my last bacon-paving. Wasn't thrilled about that.) Rest were new accounts. No actual content posted. Bacon paved and KA101 peeved--the wiki was getting rather laggy at times and actual bacon-paving takes about 1 second per page. Shouldn't take 30 seconds to save the paving.
(...) I'd like to see the Wiki moved to somewhere with a little more reliable service and active admins.
I'm doing the best I can, SharkD; I'm here/on-wiki just about every day and pave bacon at the same rate. If those paved bacon-pages were deleted outright, that might fix the server-load problem. Same if we did a user purge on the wiki. So far as I can tell KK either didn't notice or declined Erathoniel's recommendation, though, and that's his right.
