Disabling a plot in GH1
« on: September 29, 2011, 02:06:09 PM »
Suppose there's a plot in GH1 that you don't want to see for the time being. (Quit leaving the lance, guys! You weren't upset at my blowing up all those convoys when it was paying for your mechs!) Should I just move the files from the Series folder into some backup folder the game won't recognize? Or should I leave blank files with the same names in there? Or should the dummy files have some sort of basic "plot, end plot" text in them so that the game doesn't look for something and not find it?

Anyone? I guess I can learn by experimentation. I always attack convoys and I'm too much of a spoilsport to let the transports get away alive if I can't capture them, so I end up reeeeally villainous.

I would just remove the unwanted plot file/s from the Series folder. If that doesn't work or causes other problems, then I would experiment with the other methods you mentioned.
