GH2 Windowed & mouse use
« on: November 15, 2010, 07:10:28 AM »
Is there any way to get Windowed mode in GH2?
Also, Is there any way to move with the mouse in GH2? because I don't have a # pad.
Thanks-
TZX

Quote from: gearhead.cfg
#WINDOW

Remove the #. Save.

Re: Mouse, I'unno. Doesn't seem able to move with it with 2D version, though you can use it to choose menu options and junk. You could try enabling isokeys in the .cfg, but I don't play the graphics versions so I can't really say what that does. ASCII lets you use page up/down/insert/end for diagonal movement by default, which is easy enough to work with if you don't have a numpad.
Ask not!

Unfortunately the mouse does not work to move your character in GH2. But you can, in GH2, set LAPTOP_ISO_KEYS (i.e. remove the # in front of it), which will rotate your keys 45 degrees, so that the arrow keys move you along the tilted isometric grid. This is perfectly fine for non-combat movement, and for combat it's better to use the turtle movement keys anyway - [ and ] to turn, + = and - to move forward or back.
