Chimentero only want... love?

(BTW, you might wanna lighten your mecha up a bit there. Unless you like it exploding underneath you.)

Okay, that's a bug. I think I know exactly where to find it. And like Epsilon said, try to lighten up the mecha.

This bug, and the problem with the GH1 kidnapping quest, has been fixed.

That's swell. However, I think I just hosed the entire kidnapping quest by exiting the Golden Hotel map without rescuing the girl (I didn't know you needed Medicine, and didn't have enough XP to get it at the time to revive her). I get no "All has been lost..." from her parent any more, but at the same time the notice is still in the Memos.

That Martian Princess sure is sociable. Even in mecha, the game reports

> Maiit's Neko goes to see DRONE.

Like the pic above, this occurs during lulls in combat (specifically, during base-destroying missions with no enemy mechs left on map.) I suddenly want to merge the Mecha Engineering and Robotics skills and come up with a wise-cracking 100-tonner.

"Aw, why'd you have to do me up in olive? It's so passe... hey, want to see me tapdance?"

"NOOOOOO!!!!"

Hehe. You caught me manually looting stuff. Just a habit.

You know, I always thought it would be cool if you could make a sentient mecha. Make having a Robotics of 8 as a prerequisite or something; choose if it takes up the cockpit or not. It could act as a secondary gunner, select targets, balance hoverjets so you crash less often, ect.

From the sound of matters, it would have to be a battroid.

I like the way Maiit's comment seems to be referring to talking Chimenteros...
