well, typically in GH1 i used Hellstorm Grenades in investigation missions [were you have to find cabinet with evidence] to start a fire, and find the cabinet in the rubble, while the guards were burning around me

but that just me

I used one of the maces with an immolation effect for that. Pyromaniacs for the win!

Does anybody know if Born To Fly affects mecha in space combat?

And is Acrobatics at all workable in a build?  I'm going for a dancer/melee ninja setup for kicks and giggles.

Flight and Spaceflight are separate movement modes. Born To Fly only provides a bonus to Flight, IIRC.

Get a skinsuit. It's a set of SEALED HARDENED class two armor that works well in conjunction with Acrobatics.

Thanks a lot!

Wait, aren't the skinsuit parts all AC:6?  And doesn't Acrobatics have an AC:2 limit?

Size two, not AC two... or something to that effect, anyway. All skinsuits, including the bunny one, function with Acrobatics. There's a few other ones too, iirc.

And yeah, confirmation: Born to fly does jack in space. There are no specific spaceflight related piloting feats.

All right, thanks.  I'll probably grab Born to Fly anyways just for the asteroid/spinner fights.  Don't know whether I'll take it before Acrobatics, though.

Unrelated note: someone should remind Joseph to edit the text description.

I tried plasma grenading one a few times to no effect.  Should have used a chainsaw, I guess.  Thanks!

Firsts/feet also work... eventually.

Where do you go to get recruited by MUGL?  Or do you have to select that as your faction in character creation?

Good question.  I always thought you had a chance of spotting a faction recruiter wherever they have a considerable presence.  For MUGL, that would include Athera, Emerald... hm, brain at < 100% operational capacity.  What places have you tried so far?

Athera, Emerald, and Tohru.  I don't remember if there's a MUGL presence at Cesena or not.

Kosaka, perhaps?  I think that's where 'MUGL Mechanical' is located.  But I could be remembering that wrong, and since you haven't had any luck so far, well...

Haven't had any luck there, either.

OK, don't know if someone'll notice this, but do you get any effect from lancemates having points in Shopping or Conversation?
