A Little Help Please... (Spoiler)

I recieved the "kidnapped niece quest" from the mayor of wujang. After spending a load of time tracking her down, I eventually reached the Golden Hotel. After fighting the kidnappers I used medicine successfully and recieved the message:

"You heal the victim's wounds successfully and they are removed from the scene."

But from some reason it doesn't to register that I saved the niece. And when I go back to the mayor she tells me:

"All is lost..."

I can't work what I did wrong could you please help?

Sounds like a bug. I'll look into it.

Mn. Could be a one time thing.

I'd suggest you start the game again and run through it will Joseph Hewitt see's if it can be stopped occuring again, but if you try one more time it should go through. Save less. >>

I just finished the 'Golden Hotel' quest too, and got the same thing.

There were no error messages printed? Drat... I'll take a look at this, and fix it for the next release.
