The "No PC on map" error doesn't affect anything. I've fixed it for the next release.

I am suffering from a very annoying bug right now: the core story tell me to go to "Emerald Life", but this building is nowhere to be seen in Emerald Spinner. So I am stuck. I have even tried to see if the spinner had a second level, but none of the building have an elevator.

This is with version 0.624, on Ubuntu 64 bits (compiled myself, which was way easier to do than last time I tried).

May or may not help, but "Emerald Life" is the one in the main emerald spinner shopping spot that primarily sells electronic goods; it's one of the four elevators in the mall, iirc.

You should be able to look at the elevator itself, like you would an NPC or whathaveyou, to see where it goes.

Errr...

Thanks, I didn't spot that the 4 elevators went to 4 different areas. My bad, no bug here.

A slight rename would make this easier on new players.

I don't think a rename would help much, as the problem is not knowing in where is the entry point for "Emerald Life". Likewise, earlier in my game I had this email where the location was some random hospital name. Not knowing which spinner this hospital was from, it took me a while to stumble upon the sender.

Anyway, I think I may have found a genuine bug this time...

I have bought a Largo, with the transformation system Battroid <-> Zoanoid. It worked correctly on the first battle, switching from a MV-3/TR-3 battroid to a MV-1/TR-5 zoanoid. But now for some reason the transformation system transformed to Battroid <-> Ornithoid (with the correct sprite too). Even stranger, in both modes, if I am walking, I get a +2 bonus to MV (awesome but strange). Note: I do not have the sure-footed talent, so that's not the reason for that bonus.

Anyone else ever had that kind of strangeness?

A rename would include the entry point in the name, and maybe even the spinner.  So instead of "Emerald Life" you would get "Emerald Life in [Insert Mall Name] in [Insert Spinner Name]", and hence you would know exactly where "Emerald Life" is located.  Ditto with the hospital.

Ooh, that could be done with the EXACT_NAME attribute! I'll get right on that.

One thing that I should have mentioned earlier: is it normal for Mecha limbs attacks to use the Body stat instead of the Speed stat they did in previous versions (when Mecha Fighting still existed)?

Umm... yes, normal. I had forgotten about that. I must've watched too much G-Gundam.

I was thinking about using a Mecha Body stat, which would be equal to either the user's Body score or the mecha's size x 2, whichever is lower. Alternatively, the user's Body stat might get modified by + Mecha Size - 5.

I don't really like having mecha limbs attacks be based on a Body stat (from the pilot or from the mecha itself). I'm actually more partial to make limb attack (both mecha and personal) be based on Speed instead. Body and Mecha size already contributes to the limb DC, so I find it more natural to let the actual skill check use Speed (as it is about being about to hit the target instead of how much damage you deal). It kinda fits more the martial artist kind of fighter instead of the boxer/wrestler/lumberjack kind.

EDIT: If you change the limb attacks stat to Speed, but you want to preserve the possibility of playing an ultra strong pilot, who use his hands to crush his enemies, you could add a new talent: Mighty. Req: 15 Body, increase limb attacks DC by (Body - 10). (Maybe with a maximum of doubling the initial DC.)
