I've just uploaded GH2 v0.624 to SourceForge. Take a look. The most exciting change this time around is the introduction of the Long Range Scanner- this mecha system can reveal encounters when traveling, or reveal unseen enemies in battle. It has a range of 5xRank. The Trailblazer has been given a Class 2 LRS, while the Crown and the Radcliff each have a Class 4 LRS. You can activate it with the "(U)se System" command.
Here are the additional changes:
- Attack text differentiates between destroyed and disabled mecha
- Props get armor/structure display
- Usable systems now get description
- Mecha power system isolated from personal power system.
- Can pick up items with handless mecha if it's a safe area.
- Offscreen models depicted in 2D interface. I copy+pasted from GH1, and it worked more or less out of the box.
- Shouldn't pillage equipment from repaired player meks
- Lancemates need mission count to access TrainNPC command
- Lancemates will like PC more after many missions together
- MatchPlot debug info won't include null elements
- All transformation types now have defined macros. Go nuts, Johnny.
