Could have been weird luck, but I added some mechs with Drone launchers, and facing off against one it seemed very much like all the drones surrendered.  Not that having drones surrender wasn't kind of weird anyway, but all of them seems unlikely.

Drones don't work right at the moment, which is why there aren't any standard designs with drone launchers in GH2. I think I'm going to completely redo drones: make it so that they're a separate type of system, not weapons with a special tag.

Well that makes sense then.  Also I appear to have a criminal mastermind in my current game.  I got a mission to capture a thief, a rumor that he was driving around the station exterior, and I've been all over the map outside repeatedly and haven't found him.  I might just have too low awareness, or since I do as many missions at once as I can find rumors for maybe I killed him?  I'm not sure.  Here's a save file in case you think it might be interesting.

ETA:  Nope, just a regular criminal mastermind, I guess.  Two hours and 20 missions or so later, he attacked me at random.

Just met my nemesis, was told that she'd be fired if she didn't defeat me. I threw the fight as a direct result, and I got "Unknown ACL command: ENCCHAT".

Looks like a typo in MEGA_CORE_MAIN_MechaEncounter.txt to me; line 1870 has "EncChat" instead of "EndChat".

--------------

Also - although this one actually takes some effort to trigger - a mildly odd one.

First, I visit a spinner with a fungal infestation. Then, I chase rumours until I find rumours about two people in the same building asking for fungus extermination. Them, I press m to open the rumours dialog while in that building.

Now, if I just phone either of them, then I get teleported to the area that needs cleanup as soon as I put the phone down. But if I'm using the "call person" link from the rumours screen, I only get teleported when the rumours screen closes. So I can phone quest-giver 1 from the rumour screen, put the phone down, and phone quest-giver 2 from the rumour screen. I then teleport to one of the two fungus quests, complete it, and the other quest remains forever after uncompleteable (I didn't win it, I didn't lose it, and I can never get to the temporary scene where I would be able to do either).

What I think should happen is that, if a telephone call ever teleports you to the start of a quest, then that telephone call should also close down the news/rumours screen when the call ends, dumping me straight into the quest without giving me a chance to call up a second quest first. Alternatively, it could move me without closing the news/rumours dialogue; then I'll be told, on phoning the second guy, that I can't exterminate fungus over the phone and to come to <scene>.

--------------

Talking Through Walls. This is best demonstrated in a hospital, with lancemates and/or robots.

Trap a lancemate in one of the two rooms in the hospital, closing the door on him. Walk to the other room. Close the door. Stand near the wall. You can see the doctor in the other room because he's within sight of your lancemate; with a bit of luck, he's near the wall on the side of the room you're on. You can then happily chat with this doctor - through the intervening wall.

I'm not entirely sure whether this one is even worth the trouble of fixing, but it is a little bit odd.

--------------

And, this is not a bug, but is it possible to ask a person in your current building where he is and get a more precise location (e.g. "I am in <shopkeeper>'s shop, which is to the north of you", or in some cases even just "I am to the east of you"?) You can technically do everything over the phone within the same building, but sometimes you want to talk to someone face to face but can't seem to find them.
