GearHead2 v0.623: Less bugs, more filling
« on: March 02, 2010, 02:23:42 AM »
I've just uploaded GH2 v0.623 to SourceForge. This release fixes a number of bugs, and adds a new way for mercenary lancemates to bug you. Here's the complete list of changes:

- Prefab encounters may include random %r% symbol in name (playwright.pp)
- Added Admire, Disrespect attitudes (narration.pp)
- If masterplot has no payrate, may be set by subplot (mpbuilder.pp)
- Lancemates won't try to fix unassigned mecha (aibrain.pp)
- Fixed disappearing NPCs rancon problem (randmaps.pp)
- Fixed *CORE_R persona error
- Fixed Mayhem Makers no mecha bug

Try it out, and let me know if you find any problems.

Should be accompanied by messages such as "Have I told you recently how awesome you are?" and "Get out of my way, greaser."

I was in the middle of something so I didn't get a save or anything, but I had just finished rescuing my villains childhood teacher (I believe I had picked "I need even more money" for my plot option previously) and when I went to talk to the quest giver the chat window said "Thanks, now I know more about *villain's motivation." but I also got a couple of ASL language unknown errors IfChatNPCVillainous and IfChatNPCheroic.

Most of the time when I've seen errors like that pop up it's because of an unclosed tag, or an extra character between the argument and the things to be checked, sorry I can't be more exact about where I was, though.

ETA: This probably should have gone in the bug report thread, sorry about that.  Now that I've found it, I'll stick to that.

Those script errors have been fixed. They won't affect your game in any way.
